What we did
Technological Development
The project
realcommerce built a unique internal app for Shufersal and Be employees. The app is in fact the backbone of the organization's internal digital channel for its employees, including those without access to computers or to the organization's systems.

Technologically Speaking

We developed a mobile infrastructure for Shufersal to enable rapid apps development, through which we also developed this internal employee application. We had to delve deep in order to provide personalized digital response to over fifteen thousand employees who work at Shufersal and Be – regardless of their diverse roles, different salary levels and different country-wide locations.
The app displays personalized profiles for every employee and includes their working hours, vacations, premiums, salary, sales goals and additional information relevant specifically to each employee. We developed an advanced security mechanism which enables the salary display through the app. 
Another important feature is the ability to send surveys to all or only to specific groups of employees. This feature allows the organization to communicate with and collect valuable information from the employees, while reflecting their levels of satisfaction, welfare and more, and sharing the information with the company's executive management.  
Additionally, the app lets different departments, such as HR, management, CEO's office, operations and others, distribute relevant information to the employees. The information is presented and managed as a news feed, so that employees can “like” or respond to posts and more. 
The app also integrates with an external learning system which allows the organization to onboard and train new employees or provide other professional materials. 
We developed an advanced back-office for the app to support the application's integration with all the relevant systems that manage personal information of employees, users, messages, surveys, reports and so on. 
The business information accessible through the app is derived from Shufersal's complex internal logic, where the reports are created to serve Shufersal's entire management, from junior management to the highest executive echelon, and include relevant content and reports based on the managerial levels and permissions.

The Experience

The level of employee satisfaction with the app is very high as it grants them access to personalized information and updates about organizational issues. The activity levels and employee interactions with the app are high which reduce the number of referrals to the support center.
